Sharda Univerity is a catalyst for collaboration and experimentation in the field of arts, science and humanities. Through its Recording studios and Multimedia development lab, it provides a platform where creative thinkers come together from across disciplines to exchange ideas, explore processes, methods, and develop new art forms. The studios are available for use by students and faculty and serve as a creative playground where they are encouraged to explore their artistic expression by making use of the tools and technology at hand.
The University has many Auditoriums and Seminar Rooms equipped with the latest audio visual facilities for guest lectures, seminars, presentations, and other academic activities. Besides, every school has a Conference/Board room for meetings, faculty presentations, and discussions.
The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled, and all classrooms are fitted with LCD projectors and sound systems. The lecture halls can accommodate up to 200 students while the tutorial classes are designed for strength of 30-40 students.
Recognizing the key role that IT plays in teaching as well as research, the university is committed to providing computing facilities of the highest standards. A high-speed optical fibre network of 1Gbps through two ISPs with wireless redundancy allows all students to access a range of services across our entire campus including student hostels with more than 200 access points.
In our quest to make the Library management immensely convenient for the users, Sharda University Library provides vital support complementing academic activities to students, researchers and staff. We arrange access to the world of information - whether online, multimedia or in print. In order to effectively capitalize on the opportunities provided by radical changes to technology, pedagogy and research practice, the libraries operate in a number of profound ways and work in partnership with faculty members to enhance student’s research skill development, encompassing both information literacy and learning skills. The libraries now do provide effective research and learning environments with a user-focused approach which is the hallmark of SU library.
The students are spared from the difficulty of commuting to the University by public transport. The transport facility is also a significant contributor of inculcating an element of punctuality among the students. Bus Facility is also available for students & faculty members for industrial visits, field trips and other academic activities.
The University regularly hosts many inter and intra college fests and cultural events. While the intra college fests intend to explore the talents of the students within a particular school, the-inter college fests are organised inviting participation from various colleges in or near Delhi NCR.

Innovations When I look behind, I see the best days which one could spent in their college life. I enjoyed each and every moment spent in Sharda University. I had spent three long years in that University, where I learnt how to grow and grow. I did my Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication from Sharda University. Whenever I look behind, I cherish each moment which I had lived there. A girl who has just passed her 12th standard does not know much that what is good for her career, but here in Sharda University I always got motivated from my teachers.
“Angrezi mein kehte hain” was my rst Bollywood movie as an Assistant Director. This project was initiated during my nal year of graduation in Sharda and I was involved with pre production and post production. I am fortunate enough to start my career in India from NDTV channel and then with this concept based movie with a lot of learning from experienced personalities. Sharda is a key which helped me a lot to go beyond boundaries in excelling my skill set.

I did my bachelor degree in Interior Design. The design department has provided well experience visiting faculties and professors during the four years of course. This course has helped me experience and explore many new things which is related to the course. The department got a small number of students and this gave us the opportunity to have more and close interaction with the staffs and faculties. I enjoyed my time at Sharda also I got to meet varieties of label mates from different countries and states.
I believe that design as a field is and always will be something very personal, the passion for which comes from within the deepest parts of an individual. One just needs to strive hard to harvest this passion from under the ocean and I am glad to say that the School of Art, Design and Media Studies, Sharda University, was able to help find me this treasure in myself.
